Present Tenses(настоящие времена)
1.Present Simple(Indefinite) (настоящее, простое)
(usually, often, sometimes, always, every day, rarely, regularly, once, twice, 3 times a week , this day, this month)
I study English. He studies English
Do you study English? Does he study English? I don’t study English. He doesn’t study English.
I don`t know
2 Present Progressive (Continuous) (настоящее длительное)
(now, right now, at the moment)
He is speaking to John now. You are playing.
Is he speaking to John? Are you playing?
He isn`t speaking to John now. You are not playing.
3 Present Perfect (настоящее совершённое)
(just, already, almost, ?ever, -never, -?yet, recently, for, since, this day, this week, this month, for ages, for a long time)
I have just spoken to mum. He has talked to Tom.
Have you ever spoken to mum? Has he talked to Tom?
I have not spoken to mum. He has not talked to Tom
4 Present Perfect Progressive (настоящее совершенное длительное)
(for, since, how long)
I have been speaking to him. She has been speaking to Pete.
Have you been speaking to him? Has she been speaking to Pete?
I have not been speaking to him. She hasn’t been speaking to Pete.
Past Tenses
1.Past Simple ( Indefinite) Tense(прошедшее простое)
(yesterday, the day before yesterday, last Sunday, in 1967, 4 years ago)
I spoke to my friend. She watched TV
Did you speak to your friend? Did she watch TV?
I didn’t speak to my friend. She didn’t watch TV.
He was in the park. They were in the park.
Was he in the club? Were they at school?
He was not at school. They were not at home
2.Past Progressive( Continuous) Tense- прошедшее длительное время
(at 5 o’ clock yesterday, from….up to.. , while)
He was speaking. They were speaking.
Was he speaking? Were they speaking?
He wasn’t speaking. They weren’t speaking
3.Past Perfect
(before, after, when, by 5 o` clock….)
I had spoken to Alice.
Had I spoken to Alice?
I hadn’t spoken to Alice.
4.Past Perfect Progressive( Cоntinuous) (прошедшее длительное время)
( when, for, since)
I had been speaking to her.
Had you been speaking to her?
I hadn’t been speaking to her.
Future tenses(будущие времена).
1.Future Simple(Indefinite) Tense-будущее простое
(tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, next Sunday)
I shall speak English. He will speak English.
Shall I speak English? Will he speak English?
I shall not speak English. He will not speak English
2.Future Progressive( Continuous) Tense-будущее длительное
( at 5 p.m. tomorrow, from… up to …)
She will be speaking.
Will she be speaking?
She will not be speaking.
3.Future Perfect-будущее совершённое
(before, after, by 6 o` clock…).
They will have spoken
Will they have spoken?
They won`t have spoken
4.Future Perfect Progressive Tense-будущее совершённое длительное
( for, since)
I shall have been speaking. Shall I have been speaking? I shall not have been speaking.
I shall go= I`ll go
I shall not go = I shan`t go
He will go= He`ll go
He will not go= He won`t go
